Last updated: 15 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use disit.tech, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than in the defensive style these documents usually take.

Who is responsible for your data

DIS IT Tech ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

For anything relating to your personal data, contact us at privacy@disit.tech.

What we collect and why

Information you give us

When you submit the contact form or apply for a role, we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, the subject of your enquiry, your message, and any file you attach such as a CV.

Why: to answer your enquiry or assess your application. Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact our business.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the site, our analytics tools record your approximate location (city level, derived from your IP address), device and browser type, the pages you visit, and how you interact with them. Microsoft Clarity additionally records anonymised interaction data used to reconstruct how visitors move through a page.

Why: to understand which parts of the site work and which do not. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner. If you decline, these tools are not loaded at all.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard request logs including IP addresses, for security and to diagnose faults. These are retained for a short period and are not used to profile you.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
  • We do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in the contact form. If we ever start sending a newsletter, you will have to ask for it.
  • We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only to the extent needed:

  • Vercel — website hosting and request logs.
  • Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Fonts) — usage analytics and font delivery.
  • Microsoft (Clarity) — interaction analytics.
  • Appzi — on-site feedback widget.
  • Our email provider — delivery of contact form submissions to our inbox.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.

How long we keep it

  • Contact enquiries: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
  • Job applications: 12 months from the close of the role, unless you ask us to keep your details on file for future openings.
  • Client project records: for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as tax and contract law requires.
  • Analytics data: according to the retention setting of each tool, typically 14 months or less.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Have your data deleted.
  • Restrict or object to how we process it.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already happened.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@disit.tech. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your national supervisory authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to contact form submissions is limited to the people who need it. We keep our dependencies patched and review the security of the systems we operate.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe you have found a vulnerability in this site, please tell us at privacy@disit.tech — we would much rather hear from you than not.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date shown at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
